What We Measure

How close the scent is to the original. Blind tested — we don't know which is which until we score.

Original and dupe sprayed on separate test strips and skin. We evaluate opening, dry-down, and base notes separately without knowing which is which.

How long it lasts on skin. Every fragrance timed at 2, 4, and 8 hour checkpoints.

Every fragrance timed on skin (not fabric). We note when projection fades to skin scent and when it's fully gone.
